Truly, I am overwhelmed with delight at the honours I have been given. (All sarcasm aside, I am flattered, and I agree with Him there is no logical other choice, but it is most fortunate I have recovered my strength; I'm certain it will be rough for a year or two whilst I set matters in order. Ah, well. It will be an adventure.)
Vector was more resigned than anything else, but I will need to keep an eye on her; something about her seemed almost defeated. At least I need not fear the tea.
And you are not the only one who cannot believe Nott emerged victorious from that duel; I would not have thought that Raz, even distracted, could have lost against him. I have promised Auri that Nott's victory would not go unrewarded. She seemed to find the thought a consolation. (As to that, my thought is to give him several weeks before we call upon him. Not only will it allow him more time to think he has got away without retaliation, I rather think Auri will appreciate the sentiment more once she is no longer losing entire slices of time to the backlash syndrome.)
I am awake now; once I have turned Auri's supervision back over to the next shift, I will meet you back at the house.
